Things To Keep In Mind While Hosting:

1. Respond to the visitor with @name, and then the message (e.g. @name Hi, glad you're here to join us today)
2. Initiate warm welcome during pre-gathering & hand-shaking time
3. Try to lead the discussion vs letting the visitor lead the discussion
4. Try to react to or acknowledge what is happening on stage

We are encouraging all of our church family to wear their best "ugly Christmas Sweater" for the weekend of December 22/23. Show off your sweater at the photo booth wall (both campuses) We will be serving a cup of coffee and a "Christmas sweater cookie" for $1 in the café

Value: we’ll be gathering for an evening of traditional Christmas Carols, a creative telling of the Christmas story and a free gift for everyone who attends!

We’ve designed this evening to be something you can INVITE your colleagues, family members and neighbours to in order to hear the message of Jesus. Why not make this year’s gathering the beginning of a family and/or friend tradition that will help you refocus for Christmas and celebrate Jesus.

Steps of service for "I'M NEW" online

If side-stage host mentioned in pre-gathering and OR during announcement time, reinforce the "I'M NEW" and ask chat group if there's anyone new
When someone type "I'M NEW" in the chatroom, Direct Message them and ask them the following questions:
- Name, phone number, email address
- How did you get connected to the church?
- Tell us a little bit about yourself. Interests? Hobbies? etc.
